In early May, the heavy construction equipment rolled in to convert the old farmland into an ultra modern exhibition ground, showrooms for furniture accessories, restaurants with kitchens from all corners of the world, plus an office block with large conference facilities. All of this to complement the existing 250.000 square metres of beautiful showroom space under Phase I of the JSWB Global Home Furnishings Center in Shanghai.

Phase II will open with a bang in September 2010, in time for the JSWB International Furniture Fair which will debut with 110.000 square metres of brand new exhibition space, adding on to the 160 furniture brands that are already exhibiting permanently under Phase I.
