JSWB has moved to further strengthen its position as a major player in the international furniture industry. A new International Department has been established, headed by Hakon Rydland, its Executive Vice President. The new department will focus strongly on positioning JSWB as the “Gateway to China” for B2B, for retail, and for furniture fairs. Accordingly, a comprehensive sales and marketing network is about to be established in the US and Europe, and further details will be announced shortly.

JSWB’s International Department will be in charge of all communication between JSWB and the international furniture industry, including the press and media agencies. It will also be in charge of establishing several dedicated country pavilions at the Global Home Furnishings Center, and will work closely with other departments within JSWB on all relevant matters.
